Redstone Celebrates Grand Opening of Admissions and Discharge Elevator

Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare is pleased to announce the grandopening of anew Admissions and Discharge Elevator Tower ontheGreensburg Campus. There will be a Ribbon Cutting and Dedication Ceremonyheld at 6 Garden Center Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601 on Friday, December 13th at 1:30pm. The ceremony will be held adjacent to the elevator.

The need for the elevator was first recognized some years ago. A more private entrance for those being admittedand discharged will provide improved quality of life and dignity for residents and skilled nursing clients. Funds for the elevator were raised through a campaign over the past three years. The successful completion of this project will allow Redstone to continue delivery of the highest quality of care.

Lisa Dormire, Vice President for Mission Support at Redstone, shares that “We are so grateful to have completed this major project with gifted dollars. As a non-profit, we have to make wise decisions about the spending of resources for campus improvements. To complete this million dollar project with gifted money speaks to the level of support that Redstone receives from residents, their families, employees, and the external community. This wouldn’t have happened without our generous donors.”
