Lincoln Park Graduate’s Photo Exhibit Opens March 4

‘Faces of Zdvishivka: A Portrait of Ukraine’

Twice in the past two years, student Nate Sullivan of Hermitage, Pa., traveled halfway around the world to the small village of Zdvishivka, Ukraine, as part of a mission to a church-supported children’s home.

On these visits Sullivan saw “the power of hope in the midst of brokenness.” He sought to capture that spirit in photographic images.

An exhibit of Sullivan’s photographs entitled “Faces of Zdvishivka: A Portrait of Ukraine” is to be on public display at his alma mater, Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, March 4-11. Sponsored by the school, the exhibit will open with a reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 4. Light refreshments are to be provided; the public is invited.

The exhibit will be open to the public from 6-9 p.m. daily from Tuesday, March 6, through Saturday, March 10, with a final showing on Sunday, March 11, from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Continue Reading
