Self Defense for Women in Heels
Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the Fairmont Hotel Pittsburgh.
This event is a part of our Helping Women Helps the World Lecture Series 2013-2014, bringing women together from around the region to meet and be inspired by some of the most dynamic leaders in our community. Kathryn Kluk is a self-defense instructor, is passionate about educating women on how to protect themselves. Trained in the self-defense system, Krav Maga (Hebrew for “close combat”), Kathryn teaches both men and women how to use reflexive responses to threatening situations.
Tickets are only $25 and include a light lunch and dessert!
Presented by PNC, the Helping Women Helps the World Lecture Series brings together women from around the region to meet and be inspired by some of the most dynamic leaders in our community. Proceeds from the series benefit Bethlehem Haven’s programs and supportive services for homeless women. So, while you celebrate the influential women in the Pittsburgh region, you are also offering a helping hand to women who are working to rebuild their lives and reclaim their self-sufficiency.
