“Music in Every Language” is the theme of Friday evening’s spring choral student concert at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center. “The program features works in many languages and styles throughout music history,” said Dr. Marissa Ulmer, director.
After intermission, the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School Concert Choir will be joined by the student orchestra for Verdi’s opera chorus “Va pensiero” and a performance of “Invictus,” an original work by Composer-In-Residence Todd Goodman. Groups performing include the Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women’s Choir, Men’s Choir, and Seventh and Eighth Grade Choir. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the box office.
