Do you know a nonprofit that needs help with technology?

We are HandsOn Tech Pittsburgh and we would love to help nonprofits improve staff computer technology capacity, usage and outreach. We are a new AmeriCorps VISTA program and have created a program to help nonprofits in the Pittsburgh area that are tasked with helping lower income communities.
For nonprofits, we are leading regular technology trainings hosted by local experts and will work with nonprofits to create and implement a technology plans for the future.

We’re also recruiting skilled volunteers to help train and support participating nonprofits. We’re looking for experts in a wide range of technology topics; website design, hardware, social media and databases. As HandsOn Tech are members of a VISTA project, we desire our work to be sustainable.  We want our efforts to continue long after the service year is complete.  This is a fundamental part of the work that AmeriCorps VISTAs have done for over 40 years– but we can’t do it alone.
