Free workshops to help caregivers take care of themselves

Valley Care Adult Day Services—Ambridge

3 – 4:30 p.m.

If you are caring for a loved one, please join us for a free series of seminars. The Powerful Tools for Caregivers classes will help you learn how to:

·  Reduce stress                                                            ·  Communicate in challenging situations

·  Take care of you                                                         ·  Learn from your emotions

·  Communicate your needs, feelings, and concerns             ·  Make caregiving decisions

 

The six-week series of classes will meet on Wednesday afternoons at Valley Care’s adult day services center in Ambridge (345 Maplewood Avenue). Free on-site respite care for older adults will be available during the meeting with advance registration.
