Bring it all to ReuseFest on Saturday, August 11, from 10 a.m. to2 p.m., South Side Works, and give your unwanted items a second life while benefiting the environment and supporting local non-profits!
ReuseFest is a one-day collection & educational event focused on the importance of material reuse. It is an outgrowth of the Pennsylvania Resources Council’s popular Hard-to-Recycle Collections. Local organizations including Global Links, Construction Junction, Off the Floor, Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, Goodwill, FreeRide, The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project, and Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center, will be on-site to collect: – gently used furniture & medical supplies – bikes, bike parts & tools – art & craft supplies and school & office supplies – pet carriers, blankets, canned fruits & veggies – tote bags, backpacks, gym bags, soft briefcases – clothing, shoes, books, house ware items – building material and so much more.
