Women can and should benefit from being mentored AND from being mentors. Studies have found that mentoring is widely considered a critical component to career success.
Mentoring can provide valuable opportunities for both the mentor and the protégé to grow, develop, and gain a broader perspective about their career and life. Mentoring relationships are especially important for a women’s success since they often face challenges in building social capital at work. The concept and practice of mentoring informs both career mobility and psychosocial aspects in a woman’s life.
SO – Find, Create, and Become a Mentor and a Better YOU – It really works! A good mentor can make all the difference in your career. You may have the talent and ambition to succeed, however the right mentor can help direct you in a positive direction to achieve career success.
