WILKINSBURG COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS
The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its board of directors. The appointments are for a three-year term and reflect the organization’s commitment to the community and the recently completed five-year plan, which highlights development of the central business district, civic leadership and organizational capacity building and sustainability.
New board members include: Christine Kush, University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business; Iris Whitworth, Allegheny River Towns Enterprise Zone; and Gerrod Winston, The Design Alliance Architects. The Wilkinsburg Community Development Corporation was formed in June of 2008 with a mission to revitalize Wilkinsburg and surrounding areas through business and residential development, organizational and individual civic leadership, and cultural enrichment.
