Three Rivers Community Foundation announces its 2012 Grant Cycle Request for Proposals!
TRCF is a public foundation that promotes Change, notcharity™, by funding and encouraging activism among community-based organizations in underserved areas of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our annual grants can be used for operational or project support, and range from $500-$4,000. Applications are due Friday, February 24, 2012 (can be postmarked on that day or dropped off).
TRCF strongly considers: grassroots organizations with budgets under $200,000; new organizations/projects not previously funded by TRCF; projects addressing persistent divisions in society based on race, color, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, class, religion, disability, sex, ancestry, or national origin; projects developing new, grassroots leadership; youth-led projects and those promoting youth activism; projects addressing cutting-edge issues; collaborations and coalitions that emphasize joint strategies and projects.

NEW for 2012 – Teens 4 Change Grants!
Teens 4 Change is a teen-led grantmaking program that is being debuted by Three Rivers Community Foundation! Youth-led projects and projects designed specifically for youth will be considered for funding through this program. Grants will range from $250-$2,000. The application for this funding was released on the TRCF website on Friday, January 13, 2012, and will be due on Monday, March 19, 2012. (Organizations may apply for both the TRCF 2012 annual grant and the Teens 4 Change grant.)
