Tiger Pause Youth Ministry Summer Programs

Tiger Pause has a long history of serving the community of Beaver Falls through our after school programs, summer camps, and girls and boys groups. We are becoming increasingly aware that to best minister to the youth of Beaver Falls, we must encourage, support and minister to their families, as well. In an effort to continue growing in this area of our ministry, we are excited to make available two amazing workshops offered by Twogether Pittsburgh.

How to Avoid Falling for a Jerk (or Jerkette)

This program is geared toward men and women, ages 18+, and will be held at the Beez Cafe (1300 8th Ave, Beaver Falls). The class will run for 5 weeks, and will be held on Monday evenings (May 3rd –June 7th) from 5:00- 7:00 PM.

Dinner and curriculum are included, and the cost is absolutely FREE!   Come out for what is guaranteed to be eye-opening topics and engaging conversation.

Echo Program

In the summer, Twogether Pittsburgh will also offer their ECHO Program to our teenagers during the Tiger Pause summer camp. Ninth—twelfth graders are encouraged and welcome to attend these workshops that will deal with relationship issues, consequences, belief and value systems, and will explore how their choices impact their lives, their families and our society.

This course will begin on June 22nd  and will run for 6 weeks (on Tuesdays), from 1-3 PM.   Please pray about attending or having your child attend one of these wonderful workshops.

The Soma Gathering, from First Presbyterian Church in  Beaver, is financially sponsoring the Twogether Pittsburgh workshops.

Tower of Hope

We are also thrilled to announce that in May, The Tower of Hope will

be opening a space at the Beez Cafe!   The Tower of Hope is a pregnancy and family support center that provides counseling, education and material needs for mothers and their babies/ small children. Their Grand Opening is Saturday, 8 May, from 1:00-3:00.

We encourage you to come for cookies, to check out their new space (2nd floor of the Beez Cafe), and to meet Roe Cullins, their Executive Director.
