Teens 4 Change Looking for Participants!

Three Rivers Community Foundation‘s Teens 4 Change program is expanding to being a full-school-year and is looking for participants!

If you are, or know, a teen (grades 8-12), who is passionate about social justice and learning more about it and philanthropy, PLEASE apply today!

Click here for the application (please note that previous particpants do NOT have to apply again – just email the TRCF office at trcf@trcfwpa.org to let us know you wish to join again).

Applications must be received by 5:00 PM on Monday, September 23, 2013 to be considered.

Teens 4 Change is a youth grantmaking program.  Teens work together to explore social change, philanthropy, outreach, project planning, evalutating grant applications, and identifying community problems.  The teens will release their own Request for Proposals, and at the end of the program will distribute available funds to youth-led projects and organizations.

Teens 4 Change will meet every other week for two hours.  The fall semester will focus on social change in all its forms, and the spring semester will focus on project planning and how to evaluate grant applications.  Participants who attend at least 80% of the meetings will receive a stipend at the end of the program.

If you have any questions about Teens 4 Change, please contact Anne at the TRCF office at trcf@trcfwpa.org or 412-243-9250.
