To celebrate National Recovery Month in September, PerLora Leather in the Strip will host Sunflower POWER – a party benefiting POWER (Pennsylvania Organization for Women in Early Recovery) and highlighting The POWER Collection. The event starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 15th.

In September Milestone will conduct a pilot training in Mental Health First Aid.  The purpose of Mental Health First Aid is to educate the layperson so that they can assist someone who is experiencing a mental health crisis to seek appropriate help.

Join us to learn how to provide non-medical home care services.  Frail elderly, young adults, chronic or terminally ill, convalescing, and disabled neighbors need your help.

Homemaker-Home Health Aide Training Lab is scheduled from August 27 through September 30. Classes are held three days a week, (usually Tues, Wed, Thurs) 9am to 3:30pm.
