March is Women’s History Month. Join us in celebrating the strong females of Sto-Rox who have shaped the world we live in today. We will be taking a chronological walk through the past century, featuring photographs and artifacts of the women of Sto-Rox.
We are calling for submissions of photographs from now until February 29! Now is your chance to commemorate the special women in your family. Bring a photograph of her down to the FOR Sto-Rox Library located at 501 Charters Ave. in McKees Rocks. Our librarian can help you use our scanner, or if you would prefer to work from your home, download your own submission form and print from home. Jpeg images should be scanned along with a completed submission form and sent via email to photos@forstorox.org.
After we have assembled the collection, on Friday, March 11 we will host the gallery opening. Join us for an interactive experience and pay tribute to some of our communities greatest heroes. Please RSVP now so we know how many guests to expect!
