Lifesteps and Lead Sponsor, Seubert & Associates, present the Seventh Annual Star Gala event, benefiting Lifesteps Family Caring Fund.
The Gala will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at The Atrium in Prospect with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The event features elegant catering by Medure’s, auctions and unique raffles, and complimentary beverages, gifts and photo booth and musical entertainment by Dancing Queen, Pittsburgh’s own 70’s and 80’s cover band. Major sponsors include Ford Business Machines, Highmark Casualty Insurance Company, MSA, Bell’s Custom Interiors and Future POS of Pennsylvania.
The evening will also honor Lifesteps’ 2013 Star Award Recipient, Diana Garmen, who has had a long history with Lifesteps starting in 1962 at the age of 3 when she first attended therapy as a participant in Easter Seals programs in Beaver County. She began attending school with Lifesteps in 1964, at the age of five, and continued her education with us.
In 1978 she began to work for Lifesteps as an Assistant Group Supervisor at the Beaver Early Education Center. For 35 years, Diana has been a part of the Lifesteps family and has inspired those around her with her self-determination, passion, and positive attitude.
