Pressley Ridge, a local non-profit organization benefiting vulnerable children, will host its 17th annual Ice Cream Fundae at the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium in Pittsburgh, PA on the evening of Saturday, August 27th.
At the 17th Pressley Ridge Ice Cream Fundae, you will learn first-hand about Pressley Ridge as you sample various Hagan ice cream flavors at various scooping stations throughout the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium. Gates open at 6:30 p.m., parking is FREE and the ice cream is “all you can eat”! General Admission tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12. Family four packs are available for $50
“The Ice Cream Fundae allows parents to bring their children to the Zoo, and as a family, learn how Pressley Ridge helps children and families that are less fortunate,” said Paul King of Simpson & McCrady and committee chair for this year’s event.
“What the event means to me is hope. Hope that my small involvement and contribution may aid a child or a family caught in a desperate situation that is beyond their control. It is a celebration of the effort and commitment of the staff in providing this hope…it’s inspirational,” Paul explains.
