The Role of Nonprofit Organizations

We believe that community is key, not only to our prosperity, but to our very survival.  Working together to meet the needs of all members of our communities will most certainly strengthen us as a whole.

We believe that nonprofit organizations and our communities are both interconnected and interdependent.  Without the work of these great groups, our communities would find it almost impossible to survive.  Without the help of individuals and for-profit companies, our organizations will cease to exist.   

We believe that nonprofit organizations work tirelessly to provide the services, education and tools necessary to improve the lives of many.  But the members of our communities lack awareness of all that is being done.

Together We Flourish was developed to raise awareness about this work.

Our goal is to not only increase awareness, but to encourage volunteer participation and financial support to these worthwhile organizations.

If you are a nonprofit organization in the western Pennsylvania area, join us!  Participation is free.

If you are an individual or business living and working in the communities of western Pennsylvania, please register for our updates.  You will learn more about what’s being done and hopefully find some organizations that you would like to volunteer with and/or offer other means of support.

You all have heard the saying that “if you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem”.  Nonprofit organizations are part of the solution.  Learn about them!  Help them!
