Opportunities to Help Tiger Pause Ministry

We Love Scrap!

We will gladly pick-up any metal items for free. The proceeds from our scrap metal pick-ups fund a significant portion of our work program. Your old metal can impact a life! Give us a call at 724-630-9383 or complete our online form at tigerpause.net/pickup.

Hire Our Workers

Did you know, our Eye of the Tiger work program participants are ready and eager to tackle that job around your home or office that you don’t have time to do? Our workers are hired for yard work, moving services, painting, repairs, and much more. Call Mr. Matt for a quote at 724-630-9383.

Framing Work

We still need a little bit of framing done on the Beez Café. If you know how to read blueprints and have about four hours to spare, we can use you on any day except Sunday.

Buy Our Produce

We are selling our organic, farm fresh Tiger Pause grown vegetables at the Health Hut stores in Chippewa and Beaver. You can support Tiger Pause by purchasing some of our locally grown produce.

Did You Know…

Tiger Pause can accept stocks and bonds as donations. Do you have old Government EE Savings Bonds or company stock certificates gathering dust in a drawer? Avoid capital gains taxes by donating your stocks and bonds to Tiger Pause and receive a tax receipt for the full current value.

Praise Report

In late June, our Board of Directors approved the purchase of a passenger van. On Saturday, July 6 we picked up our new (to us) 12-passenger van for use with our summer and after-school programs. Thank you for your prayers! Please continue to pray for God’s provision of financial resources for Tiger Pause.

Work Recognition

Catholic Heartland brought over 60 volunteers to work at Tiger Pause.k. They have helped us get caught up on painting, landscaping, and maintenance on and around our buildings. More importantly, they helped dig the foundation for the Splash Pad. (We are still waiting on the engineer to provide the city with plans for waste water egress in storms or high snow.)

Highlights & Successes

Three young men from our Eye of the Tiger Work Program have traveled with Park Presbyterian Church to partner with Cabell-Lincoln Workcamp as a part of their outreach to those in need in the Huntington, WV area.
