New Arrivals Bridge is a welcome initiative presented by Vibrant Pittsburgh in partnership with Leadership Pittsburgh Inc. to introduce newcomers to the region’s unique history and culture, foster networks and bonds among the new arrival cohort and facilitate connections to the region’s diverse array of leadership.
- Sessions will be held on Wednesdays about once or twice a month beginning in September and ending in December with a closing event. The program will also include fun social events for family members and guests. The 2013 dates for the New Arrivals Bridge Program are below.
- Sessions will include tours, foster bonding and connections and take place at historically and culturally significant locations. Subjects addressed in sessions will range from the economic and geographical structures to diversity, social outlets, recreation and culture. Sessions will feature diverse regional leaders and topical experts.
- Wednesday sessions will typically run from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm with plenty of time to mingle and explore Pittsburgh’s diverse offerings. Convening times for social events for family members and guests will vary. See schedule below.
- Deadline for applications is July 12, 2013. Notification of acceptance will be sent the week of July 19th.
