My Thoughts Before a Day of Thanksgiving

Hi Everyone,

When I first started this project I had no idea how well it was going to be received.  But here we are, nearly three months into it and the response has been wonderful.  Not only are we getting attention locally, we are being read by people across the county and even in other parts of the world.  It seems that finding innovative ways to share the missions of organizations is something that people want to hear about.  The social media platform is an amazing resource.  I’m learning so much about how to use these tools on your behalf.  One of my favorites is Twitter.  For those of you who don’t know Twitter, it’s micro-blogging.  You can only post a few lines to text.  The nice thing is that every time I post an article for you on Together We Flourish, a link is posted on Twitter.  That’s how you are being read all over the world.  If you would like to check it out, here is my profile, http://twitter.com/togetherwf.

One quick suggestion, if you have not added a donation page to your website, please consider doing so.  The donation page should also have an easy way for people to donate.  A button to click that goes directly to a PayPal account is one way of accomplishing that.  If you have questions about this, please contact me, I will be happy to try and help.

On another note, as you all know this is the season to give thanks.  I am so thankful for all of you who have chosen to participate in this project.  We are building something special here and although the benefits may not be obvious yet, with a little effort on your part and a lot of persistence on mine, we will flourish.

Bless you all and have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

  1. Yes, this is the season to be thankful and to say thank you. Just this morning, I wrote and posted an article I call “Thanksgiving Reminds Me to Be Thankful and to Say Thank You” which I thought you and your readers might enjoy
