Join us for the Pennsylvania Women Work! 11th Annual Career Conference

The Pennsylvania Women Work 11th Annual Career Conference will take place on Saturday March 27 2010 from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the PNC Bank’s Firstside Center (500 First Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh).

The “Reshaping Your Future” Career Conference is more than a job fair; the day is designed to help participants connect with professionals from the Pittsburgh area  in a wide variety of fields, such as banking, healthcare, education, hospitality, the building trades and many more.  Participants will listen to inspiring speakers, have the opportunity to go on mock interviews, listen to topics of their choice in breakout sessions throughout the day and win door prizes.

A keynote speaker will kick off the event. Participants will then break into smaller groups to listen to their choice of presentations. Topics  in the past have been ,  Budgeting: Your Money and You, Choosing Nursing,  Dollars and Sense: The Value of Asking for What You’re Worth and Help Me Get Into the Building Trades and Construction. Then the group will then come together for lunch, followed by one more session. At the end of the day there will be a wrap-up speaker and a chance to win door prizes. The registration fee of $5.00 includes a continental breakfast and lunch.
