Want to “Jump Start” your Memorial Day Weekend?
Well you can do that with us by “Driving for the Blind” !!!
Starting at noon on Friday May 27, 2010 we at BCAB (Beaver County Association for the Blind) will be holding our 13th Annual “Drive for the Blind” golf outing to raise money to support our mission of providing services for the blind and visually impaired residents of Beaver County. I can’t think of a better reason to extend your Memorial Day weekend, than by joining us at the Beaver County Golf Club for a wonderful day of good golf, great food & drink, and grand prizes totaling over $1000.00. We will also hold a 50/50 auction and Chinese Raffle
Last year’s event was held on a crisp sunny day, and all participants enjoyed a registration lunch, a great round of golf and a full steak dinner, Chinese auction and 50/50 raffles. To top it all off, the 2010 “Drive for the Blind” raised nearly $6,000.00, all of that going to BCAB to further our mission service to blind and visually impaired people right here in Beaver County.
Mark your calendars and plan to join us at Noon on the 28th of May; the $400 entry fee for each 4-person team ($100 per golfer) includes greens fees, carts, lunch, a full steak dinner and refreshments on the course. Over $1000 in prizes will awarded to the top 4 teams! If you don’t golf, but want to be part of this fun-filled annual event? Please help us by becoming a hole-sponsor or making a donation to our Chinese Auction.
So take a half day off on May 27th and help us “Drive for the Blind”!!! For more information on how to become a sponsor or field a team, or make a donation please contact Terry at the BCAB office 724-843-1111.
