The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Beaver County along with the Franklin Center of Beaver County, Inc, will facilitate the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Day of Service” event hosted by Penn State Beaver Campus.
The focus for this open discussion platform will be “Are We Serving Everyone in Need”. For many who work in positions that strive to help others and for those who hope to work in service related industries, the questions that often come up are:
- Are we making a judgement about the people we are serving
- Who are the most underserved in our communities
- Who deserves to be served
