Steve Wetzel Had a Moment . . .
On Thanksgiving Eve, our Executive Direct, Steve Wetzel was notified by State Representative
Jim Christiana about a Beaver County family in desperate need of food.
Upon entering the home, Steve was overwhelmed by the reality that there are families, here, in our community, who are struggling to put food on the tables in their homes. As he handed over a few simple cans of ravioli and boxes of macaroni and cheese, a child living in the home responded as if Steve had just dropped 10 cooked turkeys and an Xbox down the chimney.
“Seeing families with terminally ill children is bad enough, but this? This has inspired me to expand the HERO program over the holidays.”
And thus, not only will our program be providing for the HERO families this season, but a few select families will also be receiving the necessities they need. WITH YOUR HELP!
You do NOT have to be wealthy to help a family in need. Non-perishable food items, and gift cards to grocery stores in any monetary amount are now being collected at Rhythms in Motion Dance Studio in Monaca.
