NHCO Seeking Senior Companions for County Program

Are you 55 or older? Are you interested in helping vulnerable older adults by visiting them in their homes? Are you able to serve between 15 and 40 hours per week? Become a Senior Companion for North Hills Community Outreach’s Faith in Action program!  Senior Companions receive a small stipend, meal allowance, free monthly training, camaraderie and the satisfaction of helping people in need. Senior Companions must meet certain income guidelines. Please contact Nancy at 412-307-0069 or nljones@nhco.org for information and details on the next orientation.

 Community Auto Needs Cars

North Hills Community Outreach’s Community Auto program is drastically low on vehicles! Do you have a vehicle that you don’t want or need anymore? Does an elderly family member have a car that he or she is no longer able to drive? Please consider donating it to Community Auto! NHCO accepts donated vehicles in any condition. Your donated car can change a family’s life! NHCO has a long list of families waiting to buy a car — but the lot is nearly empty. Please call 724-443-8300 or visit www.communityauto.org for more information.
