Let’s Turn Up the Heat
If you, too, are addicted to Groupons daily deals for Pittsburgh, make sure not to miss next week’s. In addition to massages, restaurant deals, and vacation packages, Groupon will be featuring a deal to help assist families with their heating bill in the Pittsburgh area through The Salvation Army. It’s a Groupon, but for a good cause! Just one $10 Groupon towards The Salvation Army will greatly impact Pittsburgh families in need by helping to prevent a shut-off of their home heating.
If you’re not already a subscriber to Pittsburgh’s Groupons, hurry and sign up at http://www.groupon.com/subscriptions/new. The Groupon will only be available for three days, January 31st-February 2nd, and each $10 pledge will go directly to fund home heating for low-income families, helping to support them through an unstable economy and prevent homelessness.
40 people must purchase a Groupon for the campaign to be activated – or else we don’t receive any of the donated money! Want give more than $10? Simply purchase more Groupons! For every $100 received, one local family will be able to keep their heat on for another month.
