The Franklin Center of Beaver County is proud to announce the expansion of the youth entrepreneurship program it offers in partnership with the Community College of Beaver County and Entrepreneuring Youth, as part of the Beaver County Youth Entrepreneurship Collaborative.

On Monday September 23rd at 6pm, there will be an informational meeting at the Carnegie Free Library of Beaver Falls regarding the after school program, I-Own Youth Entrepreneurship.  This informational meeting is for students, parents, teachers, business persons and general public who want to learn more about the program.

I-Own Youth Entrepreneurship Program is accepting applications from students 11 to 18 years of age that are interested in starting a business.  The afterschool program will meet from 4pm to 6pm on Mondays Starting in October and ending in May.  The Beaver Falls location will serve Beaver Falls, Eastvale, New Sewickley, North Sewickley, New Brighton, Rochester, Ellwood City, Riverside, Wampum, New Beaver, and Koppel.

Enrolling in the program is free and applications will be available at the library, the Franklin Center of Beaver County Aliquippa and Beaver Falls Offices.  More information can be obtained by calling the Franklin Center of Beaver County at 724-378-2882 ext. 20 or by email at scurry@franklincenter.org
