Food Donations Qualify for Feinstein Campaign at Focus On Renewal

Food Donations to Focus on Renewal in March and April Qualify for Feinstein Funds

All food and financial donations to Focus On Renewal’s (FOR) Emergency Food Pantry in March and April will help the organization earn grant money from The Feinstein Foundation. This is the fourth year Focus On Renewal is participating in the annual Feinstein Campaign to Fight Hunger, which will divide $1 million among hunger agencies nationwide. Cash, checks and food (valued at $1.00 per item) qualify for the challenge grant from The Feinstein Foundation.

Geoffrey Stillson, Director of Focus On Renewal, said, “We’re grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Feinstein campaign again this year. No one should go hungry in America. Donations that come in through this appeal will help us keep food on the table for local families who could not otherwise afford it. Many of these families have young children.”

Checks can be made payable to Focus On Renewal (with “Feinstein” on the memo line) and mailed to Focus On Renewal, 701 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, Pa. 15136. Individuals and organizations wishing to donate non-perishable food can drop off items at FOR’s community center, 701 Chartiers Avenue in McKees Rocks Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
