The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s 8th Annual Community Partners Concert!
Join the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Resident Conductor Lawrence Loh for the eighth annual PSO Community Partners Concert at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 23. This year’s concert features the sounds of Boyz II Men during the second half of the performance.
The Community Partners Concert is an annual collaboration with 25 Pittsburgh area nonprofit organizations. Focus On Renewal (FOR) is pleased to have been selected as a participant this year. To order tickets designating FOR’s code-23851–please call 412-392-4900, 800-743-8560 or visit pittsburghsymphony.org.
The PSO donates the orchestra services and secures corporate sponsors to underwrite out-of- pocket costs associated with guest artist services and concert production.
In 2011, the PSO Community Partners Concert celebrates its eighth year of this innovative approach to fund-raising and community partnership. The PSO’s Community Partners concerts have raised more than $539,000 for partnering nonprofit groups since they began in 2004.
