Fashion Event for Partners For Quality gets a new look!

Partners For Quality Foundation is proud to present our traditional Pittsburgh Fashion Story ~ celebrating our 12th year with a new event concept! This year, we will present – The Masked Ball: A Pittsburgh Fashion Story.  Guests will be dazzled by a Pittsburgh designer couture fashion show and cocktail party on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at CAVO nightclub in the Strip District.  Doors open for VIP guests at 7:00 pm, and general admission at 8:00 pm.

 Tara Rieland, Honorary Chair and longtime supporter of Partners For Quality and founder of previous “Masked Ball” events is pleased to serve as the chair the event.  “Be prepared to see the ultimate in Pittsburgh fashion design for a very worthy cause. This event raises money for a specific “ACI Emergency Fund” created for families in need of family crisis support in urgent situations.”

 Guests will experience an amazing fashion show created by 15 of the region’s finest fashion designers – Angela Keremes, Ayris Rigsbe, Elaine Healy, Erica Ersick, Gina Mazzotta, John Gurman, Keith Bloom, Lana Neumeyer, Lybbie Lewis, Makayla Wray, Malcolm Williams, Nicole Scarpone, Patty Gallagher, Terry Jolo and Zoe Collins – who will showcase one-of-a-kind gowns!!

The original Pittsburgh Fashion Story event the brainchild of co-chairmen John Lamberson and Douglas Tjelmeland who say, “the tempo and feel of the fashion show is unique and is sure to be “the” fashion event of the year!”  Come and experience a great blend of both events – the region’s best couture fashion show and fabulous party.  The event sells out each year get your tickets early.

Local artists have been commissioned to make unique masks for a ‘Mask Market’ at the event.  Guests can purchase these ‘Art to Wear’ creations from featured artists Seth LeDonne, Olga Brindar, Karen Page, Memphis George, Renee Piatt & more!  Tori Mistick is back for her 6th year as the show’s Fashion Producer and – as always – brings her special touch to the show.

 Partners For Quality is a private, nonprofit organization that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and children with mental health challenges.  Proceeds benefit Allegheny Children’s Initiative to help provide for the critical needs of children who are struggling with a myriad of mental health challenges.  Net proceeds since the show’s inaugural year have exceeded $225,000!
