Furniture Bank Donations

We will pick up any furniture or appliances in good, working condition or large metal items (for scrap) for free. Call 724-384-0174 to arrange pick-up. Proceeds from all sales at the Furniture Bank benefit the ministry of Tiger Pause and the children we serve.

The Furniture Bank is open to the pubic during the week from 10-4 and on Saturdays from 9-1. Come check us out and find that treasure or particular piece you’ve been looking for. The Furniture Bank is a great place to find items to fill up that dorm room or college apartment.

Your Donations

You can take comfort in knowing that your donation goes to good use at Tiger Pause. We are a member in good standing with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability and adhere to their seven standards of responsible stewardship

Other News

Again this year, the B.E. Taylor Christmas Concert was a great success! B.E. put on a great show with his band and special local guest musicians and singers. It was enjoyable evening for everyone and our ministry was blessed greatly by the generous donations of those in attendance.

Our administrative office has moved into new office space within our Furniture Bank location. This move helps us to streamline our operations and conserve energy by having most of our staff working from one location.

Special Recognition

Thank you to all of our Saturday Work Day volunteers. Specifically, we appreciate that 16 Geneva students spent 166 hours renovating Tiger Pause properties and various other helpful tasks. Our volunteer groups were led by our own Dave Slebodnik, who has taken over the coordination of our weekend work groups.

Additionally, we would like to recognize Mrs. Tina Davis for preparing over 1600 meals for our after-school program sites. Miss Tina was assisted by Beaver Falls graduate, Michael Stevenson. We are thankful for the time and care they both poured into creating tasty, nutritional meals for the children. They’re a blessing!
