POWER’s Woman-Centered Alcohol and Drug Treatment Graduates Honored

The 2014 POWER Promises ~ A Night of Hope event is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, at Rodef Shalom Congregation in Oakland. 

POWER Promises will highlight graduates of POWER’s woman-centered alcohol and drug treatment programs whose stories of recovery are a testament to their courage. The event, hosted by Honorary Chairs Robert Levin and Dr. Kerry Bron, will include dinner, auctions and raffles, and entertainment. The evening will also include the presentation of the Seeds of Hope Award to Sherree Goldstein, POWER Board member, Square Café owner, and community volunteer.

This year, we’re also offering chances on a 17” sterling silver Judith Ripka necklace with canary stones. Raffle tickets are available for a suggested donation of $10 each or $25 for three. Participants need not attend to win, but the winner will be drawn at POWER Promises. Continue Reading
