Walk for Literacy Rain or Shine

The OASIS Intergenerational Tutoring Program, a non-profit organization, is holding a Walk for Literacy Festival.

The free event will take place rain or shine on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Schenley Plaza Tent in Oakland on 4100 Forbes Avenue from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event includes a comfortable walk and a day full of fun with ongoing activities including entertainment; free rides on the Carousel; numerous arts
and crafts; and informational tables for seniors, children and families of all ages.  There will be free books for children, door prizes and basket raffle.
