The 21st Annual Empty Bowls Event Addresses Hunger in the Area

The 21st Annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Just Harvest

It takes place Sunday, March 21, 2016 from 1:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Rodef Shalom Congregation 4905 5th Ave in Oakland.

The Empty Bowls Dinner is a simple community meal of bread and soup to help remind people of the one in seven in our community who are facing hunger. This family-friendly event includes a silent auction of ceramic art and celebrity-autographed bowls, as well as entertainment and children’s activities. There will be dozens of delicious soups cooked by the city’s top restaurants and dished up by local personalities, and a beautiful handmade bowl for each guest to take home.

This year, guests will choose between two seating times. For more info and to purchase tickets go to https://www.showclix.com/event/emptybowls2016
