8th Annual Green Heart Gala

My name is Danielle McKain and I am the mother of a child with a congenital heart defect (CHD). I am the Co-Founder of Jameson’s Army, a non-profit organization (501c3) that was formed in honor of my son Jameson McKain. He was born with a heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He has been through 6 open heart surgeries and received a heart transplant at 11 months old. Currently, Jameson is 8 years old and thriving!

Jameson’s Army strives to help the families at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC (CHP), The Children’s Home, The Lemieux Foundation, and other medical facilities and families touched by CHD in the Pittsburgh area.

Each year Jameson’s Army continues to spread awareness and education concerning CHD to help these children as they grow and live the lives they deserve. We rely on donations received during the year from our sponsors and through our fundraisers so we can accomplish our annual goals.

On April 12, 2019 we will be holding our 8th Annual Green Heart Gala at PNC Park in downtown Pittsburgh. We are expecting approximately 300 guests in attendance. The gala consists of heavy appetizers, open bar, fundraising games and entertainment. In order for us to make this event a success we need your support. I am hoping that you will consider becoming a sponsor or donate items for our raffle or silent auction. Please see the attached information
