In June, HEARTH is celebrating their 15th anniversary of helping empower women and their families. Our mission as a Pittsburgh based nonprofit organization is to provide a progression of supportive services and housing that empowers families to become more independent, self-sufficient and adequately housed.
In the last 15 years HEARTH has helped 181 women and 337 children. We are proud of what we have accomplished but the job isn’t done yet. We need the community’s help more than ever to make our vision of every family and individual being able to live in affordable, safe housing.

Do you remember what life was like trying to research and find things before the Internet came along — you know, when our lives were more offline than on?
It certainly took longer to put together school reports, locate that great what’s-it-called-again? recipe, remember all the steps to to fix the leaky faucet and find the perfect shoes for the dress you just bought.
Of course, the web has changed all of that with online search tools and online shopping.
Now you can make a difference for the charity you love, just by using one search tool, GoodSearch. It’s incredibly easy to use. You simply select your favorite charity (there are over 87,000 participating!) and then do all of your Internet searches through their search function. Each time, GoodSearch will donate about a penny to your cause! You can even download their toolbar to make it even easier.

You can also earn money for your cause by shopping online through GoodShop, which donates a percentage of each purchase to the charity you select. More than 600 top stores are participating including Amazon, Target, Staples, and Best Buy.
Why not try a little soul searching (and shopping) for the charity you love?
