Prescription Drug Abuse and Its Relationship to Heroin: A Beaver County Town Hall Meeting is accepting RSVP’s from members of the public as well as interested community leaders. The meeting will be held on the CCBC campus in the Athletic and Events Center (Dome) on Friday November 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration begins at 9 a.m.
The town hall meeting has gained the attention of US Attorney David Hickton and Michael Botticelli, Acting Director of the Office on National Drug Control Policy (sometimes referred to as the “Drug Czar”). These two gentlemen, both holding influential national positions, will attend our meeting.
Speakers also include Neil Capretto, DO, FASAM, Medical Director at Gateway Rehab and Anthony J Berosh, Beaver County District Attorney. This meeting is a project of the Beaver County Prescription Drug Abuse Coalition and is sponsored by Beaver County Behavioral Health, Drug and Alcohol Program.
