Bread of Life Food Pantry

The Bread of Life Food Pantry in Etna wants to thank the Cub paks and Boy Scout troops who collected bags & boxes of food items during their “Scouting for Food” in April.  We would also like to thank the mail carriers who collected food in the community on Saturday, May 8th for the “Postal Workers Drive”.  We want to recognize and thank all the people who contributed to these food drives to make them such a success.

We are very busy this Christmas at the Bread of Life Food Pantry, especially with families who have lost their jobs.  There are over 155 families that are helped with food here in this Pittsburgh neighborhood.  As a result, the need for non-perishable food items is great.

As you may already know, these are very difficult times for the nonprofit organizations that help the needy.  Please take a moment to read this request for the Bread of Life Food Pantry and help if you can.

We are beginning a busy season at the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Etna, PA.  Many families in the Etna, Shaler and Sharpsburg areas will be in need of help during the holiday seasons.  On November 8th, we will hold the Etna Food Drive by gathering the bags of food at homes in Etna.  During the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons we distribute grocery store gift cards to our families.  If you would like to help your neighbors in need, please send your donation to:
