The Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong Counties would like to invite you to our First Annual Chili Cook-Off.
Admission is FREE to this event on Saturday, July 18th from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Worthington/West Franklin Fire hall. Come try some of the most delicious chili around and vote on whose chili will earn the title “Best Chili in Town!” The winner will earn bragging rights, a trophy, and $100. Proceeds from this year’s event will be used to fund Project Access, a program designed to enhance access for the blind and visually impaired to the education and workforce of the 21st century. The Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong Counties would like to celebrate the warm weather by inviting you to the Annual Spring Benefit Auction
.
Admission is FREE to this event on Saturday, April 4th from 10AM – 2PM at Boscov’s Auditorium in the Clearview Mall in Butler. The Blind Association will auction off hundreds of exciting items, from antique furniture to weekend getaways to gift certificates. Word has it there will even be a car!
Proceeds from this year’s auction will be used toward the purchase of a Braille printer and groundbreaking work on an assistive technology lab for the blind and visually impaired in addition to other technology upgrades at the Blind Association. Donations for the auction will be accepted until April 3rd and may be mailed or dropped off at our office at 322 North McKean Street, Rear, Butler, PA 16003.
