“Eyes on the Workplace”

Since waking up this morning, how many important things have you seen?  A loved one’s face, jewels of water falling from the shower head, a red light telling you to stop, a smile from a co-worker.

The value of eye sight cannot be overstated.  That is why the Beaver County Association for the Blind and the Pennsylvania Association for the Blind are encouraging eye wellness and vision care benefits in the workplace.

The Beaver County Association for the Blind is very excited to the 19th annual Hike for Sight which will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2009.  On that day, clients and friends of BCAB will meet at the Agency and take a short hike through downtown Beaver Falls to promote awareness for blind and severely visually impaired individuals and all the wonderful programs and services that we provide.

Won’t you join us in creating a successful event by Hiking for Sight!  We at BCAB would love to have your help, by getting pledges and donations, helping clients with the walk, and enjoying all the fun!  Perhaps this would provide you with an opportunity to have a great service project for your organization or just a personal gift of time.

And remember that all the money raised by this event will be used solely in Beaver County, helping our clients, right here at home.

To register, please contact Terry Lukes at 724-843-1111.
