AFP-WPA is a member organization that is the key resource for fund raising and nonprofit professionals in our region. Members of this organization meet often to build relationships and learn best practices from skilled nonprofit leaders. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in fundraising or nonprofit management. We hope to see you at a future function.
Here are two upcoming events that may interest you.
The AFP CFRE Review Course offers development professionals an opportunity to review the main components of a complete fundraising program and is a good review for the CFRE certification exam. It is a two-day, intensive program that focuses on the terminology, organization, and structure of a development operation.
The registration form for this event is available here. More information is also available on the AFP Western Pennsylvania website.
National Philanthropy Day is just around the corner on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The theme for this year’s awards presentation and reception is “Change the World With a Giving Heart”. Please click here for more information about this event and this year’s honorees.
