CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. is holding an open house on Thursday, February 13th from 5-7pm, to recruit volunteers and share information about the program. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) is a volunteer-based organization providing a voice in the courts on behalf of abused and neglected children in Westmoreland County.
CASA assists the courts to ensure the child’s placement in a safe, permanent and nurturing home. This open house will be held in the Franklin Regional Middle School Cafeteria and is for community members who would like to learn more about CASA and talk with current CASA volunteers who can answer questions.
