CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is hosting a Golf and Tennis Tournament on Friday, August 23rd at Latrobe Country Club. The fun filled day will include a team shamble with gross and net skill prizes. After golf and tennis, everyone will reconvene inside the country club for a cocktail hour followed by dinner at which time the skill prizes will be announced. CASA of Westmoreland, Inc. is a volunteer-based organization providing a voice in the courts on behalf of abused and neglected children in Westmoreland County. CASA assists the courts to ensure the child’s placement in a safe, permanent and nurturing home. These volunteers work to ensure the safety and stability of children, through collaboration with a variety of service providers, as they progress through the court system. A loving, secure, and permanent family is always the goal for every child.
