A new partnership has been forged. Beaver County STEM and the Franklin Center of Beaver County have formed an alliance that benefits both of organizations.
Franklin Center of Beaver County is a leader in outreach and referral, delivering human services, supplemental public school opportunities and education programs for citizens of Beaver County. In particular, Franklin Center is committed to improve the lives under served in our communities. Their 501(c)3 status allows Beaver County STEM access to grant funding and donations. More importantly, it provides a model for raising up community members to serve and lead others.
Beaver County STEM will continue their mission advocating for STEM education and opportunities needed for 21st century jobs. Our thrice annual meetings will continue to be a forum for networking and discussion. Look for the launch of a new web site soon, a site that will promote vision of STEM literacy in Beaver County, serve to facilitate social networking site and resource sharing of available quality STEM initiatives, materials, and educational opportunities.
