Join us to learn how to provide non-medical home care services. Frail elderly, young adults, chronic or terminally ill, convalescing, and disabled neighbors need your help.
Homemaker-Home Health Aide Training Lab is scheduled from August 27 through September 30. Classes are held three days a week, (usually Tues, Wed, Thurs) 9am to 3:30pm.
The course consists of 100 hours of classroom, hands-on and clinical training relevant to providing non-medical home care services. Topics include:
- Understanding Home Care
- Safety
- Personal Care Techniques
- Aging Process
- Infection Control
- Home Medical Equipment

Sessions are held at the office of Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service, 376 Market Street, Beaver, PA 15009 (724-774-4002). Space is limited so please act quickly.
The course is offered at no cost by Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service, a Beaver County non-profit organization, to those whose incomes are less than 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Income Guidelines. All materials and supplies are provided.
Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate of training. (This is not a CNA course) Applications are being taken at the Homemaker-Home Health Aide Service office Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
