The Kennedy Township Curves will host a food drive for the Focus on Renewal Emergency Food Pantry in March. This woman’s gym is located at 500 Pine Hollow Road in the Kenmawr Plaza.

From March 1-20, individuals who bring in a full bag of non-perishable food items to the Kennedy Curves can join and the service fee (a $149.00 value) will be waived.

The food items will be donated to Focus On Renewal’s Emergency Food Pantry in McKees Rocks. Denise Carothers, owner of three Curves’ sites, said, “We’re collecting food the entire month. Our goal is to replenish FOR’s food pantry.” Food donations can be dropped off any time Curves is open. A free gift will be given to anyone who brings in food, while supplies last. Hours are:

  • Mondays from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays 8 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesdays 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 3 to 7:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays 8 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7 p.m.
  • Fridays 8 a.m. to noon and 3 to 7 p.m.
