Programs That Build Competent, Strong, Healthy Kids at Anchorpoint

Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry, offers programs designed to equip individuals, families, and youth leaders with the tools necessary to help navigate young people successfully through childhood and adolescence.  Healthy children and healthy families are the building blocks of strong communities.  We are proud to be a part of Healthy Communities  Healthy Youth (HC*HY), a national initiative launched by Search Institute in 1996 to equip and support communities around the world that are engaging multiple sectors to build Developmental Assets in young people.

There are many great programs available at Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry.  Here are two that are definitely worth your time: 

  • Hot Topics: Programs for Parents (10-15 year olds), Understand the social life of 10-15 year olds. 

Using pro-active strategies to help your children have healthy relationships.

When giving, doing, and allowing too much hurts your children and teens (k-12)

Anchorpoint Counseling Ministry is seeking volunteer tutors ages 16 years and older.  No experience necessary!  This dynamic program enables students in grades K-12 to learn critical study skills and life-long organizational habits.  Work one-on-one with students in grades K-12 in primary subject areas.  You’ll have a wonderful opportunity to mentor and encourage students in need.  Sessions are held Monday-Thursday, 4-8 pm.  Volunteers may serve one or more hours a week.  Training is provided.
