A New Tool to Help Nonprofits Find Community Volunteers

in Nonprofit News

Have you registered your nonprofit organization with Serve.gov?  If not, now is the time to do so.community   In case you haven’t heard, President Obama has implemented a program to engage Americans from coast to coast in addressing community needs in education, health, energy, the environment, and community renewal.  Serve.gov is the website that has been created to facilitate that mission.

When you visit the site, you will see a place on the right hand side to submit your project.  It’s important that you do this, now more than ever, because Google recently launched All For Good, a website that aggregates volunteer opportunities from registered organizations.  All For Good is being used to power the search portion of Serve.gov.

If your organization is in need of volunteers and help from the community, please visit Serve.gov and register you projects today.
