The North Hills Youth Ministry Counseling Center is a nonprofit organization with a mission to help youth and families improve communication and spiritual values within the family system. This organization is currently offering their Anger Management Group for Adolescent males ages 13-16.
Teens attending this group will develop strategies which will empower them to better manage their anger, to challenge their irrational beliefs, and to exhibit mastery over their behavior.
Techniques include:
- Assertiveness Training
- Trigger Identification
- The ABC Model
- Deep Breathing
Jonathan Impellizzeri is a Nationally Certified Counselor and currently works as a Family Based Mental Health Therapist at Wesley Spectrum Services. Having completed a Master’s degree in Counseling at Duquesne University, he is currently a doctoral student at Regent University where he is specializing in the integration of counseling and Christian spirituality. He brings to the group three years of clinical experience working with adolescents who struggle with anger management. Jonathan is recently married and also enjoys working as a high school soccer and basketball official.
There will be six consecutive on Wednesdays: January 28-March 4 at the
North Hills Youth Ministry Counseling Center Offices. The time will be 5:30 -6:45 pm and the cost is $10 per session.*
